Panaji's sewage treatment plant produces treated water, and the city needs water for its gardens, open spaces and construction. This project mapped where the two could meet.
The maps identify the city's gardens, open spaces and construction sites along the Mandovi waterfront and in the city, their distance from the treatment plant, and the points where tankers or pipelines could deliver treated water. They gave the Corporation and the Public Works Department a basis for planning reuse.
